What We Believe

We believe in one transcendent and triune God. He is the Creator of all, eternal and manifests Himself in three persons: The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is God, and came in the form of a man. He is the promised Messiah, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and provided for the remission of our sins by His death on the cross. He rose from the dead, ascended to Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He continues to intercede for us in heaven. After His return to heaven, Jesus continues to send the Holy Spirit to fill all believers. The Holy Spirit enables believers to fulfill the command to preach the Gospel to the entire world and make disciples of Jesus Christ.

We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit. He indwells and empowers every believer, baptizing them into the body of Christ. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit that were demonstrated in scriptures are still available and active today. These gifts are for the purpose of demonstrating God’s love and to benefit humanity.

We believe that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin. However, salvation, forgiveness and redemption are given only through belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. When a person repents of sin and receives Jesus Christ as his/her Savior, he/she is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit. When someone is born again, they become a child of God.

We believe Jesus Christ is the head of the Church, which is His body on earth. We desire to be under the authority of the word of God and be led by the Holy Spirit in all the ministry of the church.
