Welcome to Lansdale Life
This isn’t “church” as you might expect. It’s not “religion.” We’re a group of everyday, real people—experiencing life together through all of its ups and downs, highs and lows, hurdles, victories—we call it community. We believe that Jesus not only gives us new life, but a full and complete life. Meant to be lived, shared and experienced—together as a family.

Casual atmosphere. Caring people. Contemporary worship. Committed faith.
Lansdale Life Church is part of the Calvary Chapel fellowship of churches. We began as a church plant sent out from Calvary Chapel of Central Bucks, to serve the Lansdale community.
Led by Chris and Jill Bonner and a committed team of leaders, we had our first Sunday Morning Service on January 5th, 2014.
Since then, God has continued to open hearts and doors in Lansdale, and Lansdale Life Church continues to thrive, as we follow in the footsteps of Jesus, by serving others.
Who We Are
Lansdale Life Church is a fellowship of believers and followers of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to know Christ and to be daily changed into His image through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our Mission is to BRING THE KINGDOM. This means that we strive to serve, love, and act in a manner that Jesus did—therefore, bringing the Kingdom of Heaven here to earth.
“For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:21
“…Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10
Our Vision is:
TO KNOW THE LOVE OF GOD
- Believing our full Identity is in Jesus Christ (2 Cor 5:17)
- Teaching the whole Bible as God’s Inspired Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
- Equipping the Saints (Ephesians 4:12)
- Experiencing the JOY of our salvation (Romans 15:13; Jude 24)
TO GROW IN THE LOVE OF GOD
- Worshiping God in Spirit and Truth (John 4:23-24)
- Loving God and loving our Family in Christ (John 13:34; 1 John 4:11-12)
- Uniting our individual gifts and talents as one body (1 Peter 4:10-11; 1 Cor 12:1-13)
- Valuing each other’s individuality, creativity, testimony, & experiences (Romans 12:10)
TO SHOW THE LOVE OF GOD
- Using all the gifts of the Holy Spirit to be a miracle-moving Church (Gal 3:5; Heb 2:3-4)
- Letting the Word speak, work, & love through us (John 1:14; James 1:22)
- Loving our local and global community as Christ loves His Church (Eph 5:1-2)
- Connecting with other Churches for Christ-centered goals (1 Cor 3:4-11; Ps 133:1)
- Investing in missions & ministries (Phil 4:17-19; 2 Cor 9:5-11)
What We Believe
We believe worship of God should be spiritual. So, we remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.
We believe worship of God should be musical. Music is an important part of our worship, and our worship is contemporary, with the emphasis on “worship” rather than “contemporary.”
We believe worship of God should be intelligent. Our services are designed with great emphasis upon the teaching of the Word of God that He might instruct us how He should be worshiped.
We teach the Word of God in such a way that its message can be applied to an individual’s life, leading that person to greater maturity in Christ. We believe worship of God should be fruitful.
We look for His love in our lives as the manifestation that we have been truly worshiping Him. We believe in one personal, transcendent, Triune God, the creator of all, who is eternal, and who manifests Himself in three separate persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ, though fully God, became a man. He is the promised Messiah, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, provided for the atonement of our sins by His death on the cross, was bodily resurrected, ascended back to the right hand of God the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us. After Jesus ascended to Heaven, He poured out His Holy Spirit on the believers in Jerusalem, enabling them to fulfill His command to preach the Gospel to the entire world, an obligation shared by all believers today.
We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit who indwells and empowers every believer, baptizing them into the Body of Christ. We further believe that the Holy Spirit will come upon any believer who asks in faith, enabling him/her to preach the Gospel in power. We also believe all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in the Scriptures are valid for today, and that they are to be exercised within the scriptural guidelines set forth by the Spirit. We believe that love is more important than all the gifts, and without this love all exercise of spiritual gifts is unprofitable.
We believe that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit, all his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God.
We believe in the devil. Satan and his fallen angels are destined to spend eternity in hell. We believe they now seek to deceive people and defeat the work of God. However, they can be resisted by believers, as they are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, protected by God, and interceded for by the Lord Jesus.
We believe Jesus Christ is the head of the Body, His Church, and desire to follow a biblical model of church government. We desire to be under the authority of the word of God and led by the Holy Spirit in all the ministry of the church.
We believe in the inerrancy of Scripture: That the Bible, Old and New Testaments, in the original autographs, is the inspired, infallible Word of God, a complete and final written revelation of God. We reject doctrinal viewpoints or spiritual phenomena which are based solely on experience. We look to the Word of God for the basis of all our faith and practice.
We believe in the pre-tribulational rapture of the church, and we believe that at the Second Coming of Christ He will visibly set up His throne on earth and personally rule with His saints for 1000 years. This motivates us to holy living, heartfelt worship, committed service, diligent study of God’s Word, regular fellowship, and participation in baptism by immersion and in Holy Communion. We believe that the nation of Israel still has a special place in God’s plan and that all the promises of the God of Israel will be fulfilled.
